I am sure we can write a better landing page as a user but I feel we do not have it yet and I am not sure what a user wants to do right after ctl login.

I think this is an improvement over the current landing page. I'd like to invest in a landing page for datumctl that sits one layer higher that gives users to option to dig into tutorials, guides, or CLI reference docs so they can easily find what they're looking for. The gcloud landing page is a good example of this.
